McManus Family Counseling General Office Policies , 2007

1) Office visits by appointment. Hours available are Monday through Friday, afternoons and evenings. Client wait-time for appointments can vary, but is seldom longer than one week.

2) Full payment is due at time of visit. With very few exceptions, I do not bill insurance. I will assist in any manner possible those clients who wish to submit their receipts for insurance reimbursement.

3) Clients under the age of 18 years, must have their legal guardian's (custodial parent) permission to participate in counseling sessions. This is the law!

4) If a client misses an appointment without 24-hour notice, they, or their guarantor, are charged the full fee for the session missed. Parents take note, this includes adolescents who schedule their own appointments and then forget.

5) Sessions are scheduled on the hour, and unless previously arranged, billed as an entire hour. If you arrive late, I will have to end on time. If I am the reason we start late, then I will accommodate that accordingly.
